Yay for the Texas government and the Texas Workforce Commission! Justice has been served! We got a phone call a couple of days ago informing us that we will be getting David's wages that his employer was refusing to pay him! They gave us the impression that we would be seeing those wages within a month. Hallelujah! That will make getting by until other employment comes through MUCH easier!
The job search continues. There are a few prospects, but we are still playing the waiting game. Hopefully we will know something within the next two weeks? I feel like I've been saying that for the last month! At least there are people that are interested in David's skills!
We finally set up the crib! It feels SOOO good to finally have a place to bring our baby! We had been postponing assembling the crib because we were not sure if we would need to move in with my parents or not. Since the baby's guess date is only 7 weeks away, we figured that we are close enough to his arrival that it is pretty safe to assume that we'll be living with my parents when he is born.

Even if David gets a job (locally) we plan to live with my parents until the baby is at least a month old. Adjusting to a new baby is hard enough (so I hear) and we don't want to stress ourselves out by trying to move too soon afterwards. We are hoping that the stay is as short-term as possible though. We can pray!
Here is my ever-expanding body. I have been noticing stretch marks all over in the last week. I made it so long without any! I'm not too worried about them though, especially since I've still got a while to go and I'm sure that they'll only multiply...

I like to play with baby. He pushes on my belly, I push his foot back down, and he pushes back somewhere else. I push his foot (or elbow, or knee, or hand) back down and it pops back up somewhere else. It's like that whack-a-mole game you see at arcades. It's definitely David's child if he's already playing games... hehe David would be so proud!
